Itemdash

The itemdash is one of the most fun movement tricks that you can perform in the game.

This is a JP 1.0 exclusive glitch.

To do an itemdash, you have to press the Y and A button on the same frame. If done correctly, you start dashing and using the item that you equipped on the same time.

Hammer and Net are the ones with the most visual notable effect. Itemdash with the Hookshot or a Medallion allows you to get Superspeed .

Hammerdash

Hammerdash allows you to dash through pots or similar objects that can be destroyed by the hammer normally.

Netdash

If you try to catch a fairy located in a pile of rock or in a tree with a netdash, you avoid bonking.

Boomdash

Itemdashing with the Boomerang allows you to hit in one direction, and dash in another one.

Just press the direction you want to trow the boomerang the same frame as you push Y and A, then release the direction to dash where you want.

Other ones

Other itemdashes like Fire Rod or Cane of Someria are mainly small frame savers; they just merge a part of the item animation in the dash charge.
