Position yourself at the corner north east of Link's house.

THEN...

^> + v> (x4) All for 1 frame

THEN...

^> for 2-5 frames

FOLLOWED BY...

v> for 1 frame (no more)

Go slightly ^ and start walking <

Link will jump off a ledge...
